Meet The 2022 Winners: The Miami Pitch Competition

Jessica Jefferson - 1st Place Winner

Jessica Jefferson is the founder of Soul Wellness Social Support. They are a full-service wellness collective of licensed professionals from all walks of wellness industries, including medical, mental health, and homeopathy.


They are a group of multicultural, multilingual, and multiethnic professionals looking to connect with those who have been looking for professionals who understand the impact of culture on their wellness journeys. They are your professional partner in wellness, and their team helps you do the hard work of healing with a supportive community. They believe everyone needs to be seen, heard, valued, and have a sense of belonging.



Trudy Armand - 2nd Place Winner

Trudy Armand is the co-founder of HER-MINE. She and her mother, Pam, founded HER-MINE in loving memory of Trudy's favorite aunt and Pam's baby sister Hermine. HER-MINE is a beauty, wellness, and lifestyle brand primarily featuring self-care products by women-owned businesses.


Each box features carefully selected items that deliver value and pursue a common purpose: to foster the growth of women-owned businesses through partnership. HER-MINE's overarching mission is to support women. They do this by curating products from women-owned vendors and promoting and sharing the stories behind the women-owned vendor partners. Lastly, they provide microloans to women business owners around the globe through their HER-MINE Sisterhood team on KIVA.



Jannea Wolff - 3d Place Winner

Jannea Wolff is the founder of Exersteem. As a health and wellness coach, she empowers moms who have experienced a traumatic birth to feel good in their skin again through her group coaching program.


Jannea offers a holistic approach involving mental health, nutrition support, and physical movement. She is a licensed social worker and a certified personal trainer with over ten years of experience supporting individuals mentally and physically. Having gone through a traumatic birth herself, she knows firsthand what it's like to have your life flash before your eyes to regain your wellness and thrive.
