BGV NextGen
Activating student visionaries
at HBCUs.

WHAT IT IS
BGV NextGen is a chapter-based program designed to empower the next generation of
entrepreneurs on HBCU campuses nationwide. Through a student-led structure, NextGen
Chapters cultivate innovative mindsets by providing direct access to capital, immersive training,
mentorship, and powerful networks.
Each BGV NextGen chapter offers three structured engagement tracks:
-
Founder
-
Career
-
Investor
Through these pathways, students gain practical business experience, leadership development,
and exposure to real-world applications of entrepreneurship and investment. Participants
engage in workshops, pitch competitions, and curated networking opportunities with investors,
entrepreneurs, and industry leaders.
Aligned with our mission to advance intergenerational wealth, BGV NextGen equips students
with the skills, insights, and connections needed to excel in the workforce, pursue
entrepreneurial ventures, and actively contribute to closing the wealth gap.
